Brooklyn neighbour, veteran producer and Bastard Jazz label boss DJ DRM reinvents the Midnight Lab Band’s ‘Twilight Reprise’ (NYCT-12002), resulting in an all-fire infusion of house, disco and dub. The flipside features Midnight Lab Band’s slow disco funk and spaced out synths remix of Presto’s ‘Stargazer’, a track originally released on his ‘Illustrations’ digital EP for Bastard Jazz.
Second limited press white label vinyl from Names You Can Trust, offering up three remixed tracks available on wax for the first time. Originally just a bonus track, TM Juke’s alternate “Party Breaks” version of the GRC hit ‘Tabaco y Ron’ (from NYCT-7002) has already received critical acclaim and heavy rotation status from DJs all over.
