Yes! This 12 on our very own Fat City Recordings sees two of the highlights from 2007's Producer No. 1 compilation get the rework treatment from two of our favourite studio wizards. First up renaissance man Mark Pritchard takes Eric Lau & Guilty Simpson's 'For the D', giving the vocal a totally new instrumental bed, all in a shuddering hip hop template. Blackpocket's 'Ur'e A Sta' is remixed by dubstep's fastest rising star - Holland's Martyn. Detroit is once more a big influence as is the warm 2-step sound that Martyn is known to favour in his eclectic DJ sets. Plays for both sides have come from Benji B, Gilles Peterson, Kode 9, Appleblim and many many more DJs.... A fitting way to round off the first installment of the Producer series.
