Mr Bongo is proud to present the first 7" single from Prince Fattys highly anticipated second album Supersize, due out this Autumn (MRBCD069).
Following on from the huge success of the last Fatty album Survival of the Fattest(MRBCD052) comes this 7" banger featuring a cover of the American hip hop group Cypress Hills massive hit Insane in the Brain but this time re-worked into Fattys renowned reggae style, featuring Horseman on vocals.
Prince Fatty is a group put together by producer and engineer Mike Pelanconi, (whose recent credits include Lilly Allens smash Alright Still for Regal/EMI and Little Barrie Stand your Ground for Genuine/PIAS). The group also includes; Little Roy, Bubblers from the Ruff Cut Band, Style Scott from the Roots Radics, Winston Francis and Holly Cook, the vocalist from the band The Slits.
Mixed in his own seaside studios, in an analog haze of vintage spring reverbs, tape echoes and custom hi-grade mixing console, Prince Fatty wont disappoint the lovers of the early 70s sound.
