Some large stuff just landed!

First up, the dope as hell and well limited Kutmah Sacred Geometry CD is back in stock! Hardly any shops selling this, maybe apart from some in the US, so be quick! Fresh ish from Dabrye, Flying Lotus, Samiyam, Ras_G, Illum Sphere and Blue Daisy!

Also back in stock are more copies of the three Wack 7"s that all flew out so fast! Check them HERE.

Gaslamp Killer follows up his Finders Keepers 7" with a full mix CD called ALL KILLER! Essential!

Check the dope Eddie Scissors Edit of a classic but slept on Bob Marley bomb!!

Wicked wicked new 12" from Reggie Dokes, on the beatdown house flex. This guy is seriously good.

Quite possibly the biggest week of the year for tunes! With about 10 that could easily be record of the week!

The coveted spot goes to Cookin On 3 Burners heavy funk cover version of Gary Numan's Cars which is gonna be huge! There's 3 other cool tracks as well including a Diesler and Lack of Afro remix..

The biggest Hip Hop 12 of the year so far comes courtesy of Large Professor. Amaman is proper golden era hip hop - sound like Main Source 1993 - absolute belter!

Chek the ace Nickodemus 7 feat Quantic - Salsa with a touch of funk -  ace!

Check the Moton edits - 3 killer soul 70's soul edits. The cover of Goin' Up In Smoke is Sublime and there's 2 other killers as well. can't find anyone who knows what they are..but they are amazing!

The Nextmen are back! They have a new album out at the end of teh summer...in teh maeantime check their remix of for Fort Knox Five. Classic funky Netxmen production featuring Asheru on vocals!

Uptown Funk Empire finally release their debut soul/ boogie LP (from the man who brought you the Dynamics and Patchworks).

Two great hi hop albums this week. DJ JS-1's LP is like a who's who of US MC's - Large Pro, Ultras, DITC, J-Live, Brother Ali ...dope! The other sees Mick Boogie rework Adele's LP with hip hop MC's including BIg Pooh etc..it realy does work!

There's some great soul bits this week in addition to thos already mentioned. Deborah Jordan CD with production form Jneiro Jarel and Llorett Fleur which is very much in the vein of Meshell Ndegecello..check em both here

Absoutely massive selection of new mash up/ dancefloor/ funk 45's just landed and some big retsocks  -check em here, Fresh and Funky 45's Part 16

Check the marvellously packaged Guts EP on their own Pure Vida label. As well as the vinyl you also get a cd version of the EP. Check the Outlines remix of Take a look around you - it's a sublime slice of sultry hypnotic soul. The original mix is alson on the EP along with 2 other brand new tracks.

The response to our last reggae 45's mailout was massive, so given that a load of great revive 45's have just landed, we thought we'd put another top quality selection together for you.
There's a real mixture of styles here - but all killer no filler.
Some are titles we've never had in before, like the amazing ska heavy Blazin' Fire by Derrick Morgan that some of you may remember from Quadrophenia. We've also never seen the amazing Coxsone produced Adis Ababa by Don Drummond on a 7 before, or Bob Marley's Man to Man/ Who The Cap Fits.
One Love Jamdown by Michigan & Smiley is another we haven't seen on 7 before and is from  much later era  - but another gem, something we'd tried unsuccesfully to get for an early Fat City Mystic Brew comp.
There's some unbelievably big titles back in. Conroy Smith's Dangerous is a stone cold classic and has been unavailable for a couple of years now. Likewise John Holt's Ali Baba, Niney's Blood and Fire and Wayne Smith's Sleng teng have all been repressed.
Other lesser know nuggets to check include Paula Clarke's No Parking, Johnny Clarke's Crazy Baldheads, Horace Andy's Quiet Place, Lloyd Parks Mafia....There's just too many to mention and not a bad record in the whole list...enjoy! Check 'em all here.. if you're into this then check another great list of reggae revives here

The Gaslamp Killer Vs Finders Keepers : Finders Keepers Edits Ltd 7"
The Gaslamp Killer Vs Finders Keepers : : Finders Keepers. Price - 7" = £7.49
Late last year, in the Finders Keepers Manchester vaults they celebrated their 20th conquest. And they haven't stopped digging - deeper and deeper without looking up until they've realised that they're stuck in a 40 year old chasm devoid of contemporary pop culture making routine DJ trips into the wilderness, seldom distracted by rare shards of daylight. One such shard of light that regularly bounces around the B-Music mine shaft is beamed all the way from Los Angeles (via a global DJ schedule)- The Gaslamp Killer - while the FK bloodhound digs backwards, GLK sails forwards.GLK might be the youngest artist in the FK family but he's certainly not the greenest and in a world where if we do happen to converse with someone without having to consult a travelers phrase book its very unlikely that they'll be under the age of 60 then he's certainly the most gregarious sonic interpreter for the B-Music outernational modus operandi. Scrambled, sampled, angle-poised and untangled, 'All Killer' hears GLK at his best - given envious carte blanche on our vast musical palette featuring tracks that have previously been savored and championed by the likes of Madlib, Oh-No, Artic Monkeys, Percy P, Erykah Badu, Jarvis Cocker, Koushek, Future Sound Of London and Morrissey amongst others! LIMITED TO 500 7" WORLDWIDE!

Third P : Space Traveller
Third P : : Trad Vibe. Price - Vinyl Album = £12.99
Third P, known as Mr Hone, has decided to explore the new hip hop/electro scene, breaking the rules of his traditional souljazz hip hop. His first project, “Monster Loves Cookies”, available on free download on his myspace, knew a real success.

Unusual and Electric : KPM Sessions
Unusual and Electric : : Zirkus. Price - 12" = £5.99
You never know what to expect from this bunch and here they are again with another joyful dollop of sonic mischief which this time is fixated with Alan Moorehouse's 1970 soul-strutting classic 'Soul Skimmer', which they remix as an early 90s-style funky piano vamp shot with the necessary unhinged whoopee. Moorehouse figures again with 'That's Nice', continuing the funk-vamp style with a touch of the Stax house band on mushrooms. 'That's Nice' injects a funky soundtrack feel while 'Move, Move, Move' ventures further into their unique cosmos, with boomy beats, dub tweaking and lowdown lavatorial bass. sleek and ready to raise any dance floor.

Various : Baltic Soul Weekender 2
Various : Germany : Unique. Price - CD = £17.99
Double Album = £19.99
There is a dope little weekender that has been running since 2007, when Dan D. and his crew took over the "Weissenhäuser Strand" for their first "Baltic Soul Weekender". Now, in it's third year and to make a good thing even better, you can take the "Baltic Soul Weekender" home with you, in the form of this compilation, which covers all above mentioned styles, while still flowing like a mighty stream, from the Seventies to the here and now. The only thing you'll have to imagine, are the birds, the waves, the beach and the sun. Well, and maybe the fun-loving people, too … But you can always meet them again. Next year! There is a stack of absolute killers on here, however, the biggest is without doubt the awesome 'For Real' by Flowers. It'll set you back a couple of hundred quid on wax, if you're lucky enough to find one... Definitely worth it for that track alone!

Various : Weekend Breaks Volume 2
