Description
Launching the "LUGNUT BRAND RECORDS" label, Chris Lujan's "THELUGKNUCKLES" is an organ-heavy funk band based in San Francisco's Bay Area. The bassist/bandleader has worked as a sideman in countless bands throughout the Bay, but at times when he's grabbed a collection of musicians and stepped into the bandleader position, he has used the name “THELUGKNUCKLES”. Downtempo Hammond grooves with influences ranging from Jimmy McGriff, The New Mastersounds, Funk, Inc., The Meters.
